Last weekend we helped Eric celebrate his 60th Birthday with a dinner & dance at The Chichester. Steve & I and Gav & Paula had decided to stay the night to ensure a proper night's sleep and it was a brilliant idea. We had a great night and didn't care in the slightest that is was nearly 2am when we got to bed.
So onto this weekend. We had our first sleepover with Ollie & Molly this weekend and not to do things by halves we had them from 11am on Sat til about 3pm on Sunday. I didn't think that was a challenge enough so we were also looking after the nursery hamster for the weekend too!The kids had a great time together and on Saturday we went to Apple Day at Lathcoates Farm. There were donkey rides and lots of animals to look at.
Then today we went to Old MacDonalds Farm Park. It was a little chilly but the kids didn't seem to feel it and spent quite a few hours feeding the animals and playing on the bouncy castles & slides.We'll have to make sure it's not such a long time til the next one.
